OutlierU Program, Documentary Series, and Competition
Terms and Conditions

By participating in the OutlierU program, documentary series (“Program”), and competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, agree to, and accept the following terms and conditions:

1. Program Management:

The OutlierU program and documentary series will be under the supervision, control, and management of Activate Lifestyle Management Pty Ltd, trading as Outlier TV (“Outlier TV”), whose decisions on all matters relating to the program and series will be final.

2. Participation and Commitment:

You must be available to participate and attend all OutlierU workshop dates as outlined in the program schedule.

You must commit 100% to the success of your OutlierU journey, actively participating in workshops, coaching sessions, filming activities, and community engagement.

You must be willing to be filmed and have your story shared in the OutlierU documentary series and related promotional materials.

You must be able to provide proof of your business income and expenses as requested by OutlierU.

3. Health and Fitness:

You must be in good physical health and have no known medical conditions that would prevent you from safely participating in the program’s activities.

You must provide a medical certificate confirming your fitness to participate, including the ability to swim 200 meters unassisted.

You must disclose any changes in your health status or any new medical conditions that may arise during the program to OutlierU staff.

4. Cancellation and Withdrawal:

If you need to cancel your participation after being selected, you will not be eligible for a refund if you give notice within 7 days of the initial coaching session.

If you withdraw for any reason during the program, you will not be eligible for a refund, as your spot becomes unavailable for the documentary series.

It is highly recommended that you obtain health and/or travel insurance to cover any unforeseen costs related to the program.

5. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property:

Outlier TV shall own all right, title, and interest, including copyright, in and to all content created during the OutlierU program and documentary series, including any content featuring you.

You will receive a license to use any content featuring you solely for your personal and business promotional purposes.

6. Competition

The OutlierU competition will be judged based on a combination of factors, including:

  • Business results (revenue generated, client acquisition, etc.)
  • Personal transformation and growth
  • Commitment to the program and community
  • Quality and impact of the content created
  • The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and potentially a vote from program participants (excluding yourself).
  • The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip with Andrew McCombe to film an Outlier TV episode and the non-exclusive opportunity to explore a potential partnership with Outlier TV.

7. Partnership Opportunity:

Based on your performance and mutual alignment, you may be invited to explore a partnership with Outlier TV, leveraging our media and marketing expertise to accelerate your business growth.

The decision to partner rests entirely with you.

8. Liability:

OutlierU and its venue, activity and / or other partners accept no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft of personal property during the program.

You are responsible for any damage caused to OutlierU or its partners’ property.
You are responsible for any claims for loss, injury, death, or damage arising from your participation in the program

9. Assumption of Risk:

You agree to participate in the OutlierU program at your own risk.
OutlierU and its venue, activity and / or other partners are not liable for any death, injury, property loss, or damage incurred during or arising out of any aspect of the program.

10. Confidentiality:

All information shared during the program will be kept confidential, except as required for the documentary series, program and marketing or by law or with your explicit written consent.

You also agree to keep any other information shared by other participants confidential.

You agree to keep confidential any proprietary information or trade secrets disclosed to me during the OutlierU program, including but not limited to business strategies, coaching methodologies and unpublished content as well as information shared by other participants.

11. Code of Conduct:

You agree to conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner during the OutlierU program, including workshops, coaching sessions, and online interactions. I understand that any disruptive or harmful behaviour may result in my removal from the program.

12. Force Majeure:

Outlier TV shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or government regulations.

13. Governing Law:

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

14. Modifications:

OutlierU reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes in writing.

By participating in the OutlierU program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
